Personal information

• • You need a SmrtGuard Account to login into SmrtGuard services that is accessible from any Internet-connected computer. SmrtGuard asks for some personal information when you create a SmrtGuard Account, including your Blackberry PIN, email address, username, and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.
  
  • When you use SmrtGuard on your BlackBerry Smartphone, SmrtGuard's servers does not record log information that you selected to backup and protect as part of your SmrtGuard service such as contacts, call logs, tasks, emails, and memos.
  
  • We use Google Analytics on our site, please review Google Analytics’ private policy here.
  
  • We do not store your credit card number when you purchase our application. Your financial information remains with Mobihand, Paypal, or Google Checkout.
  

Uses

• • SmrtGuard maintains your personal data in order to safeguard it and provide backup services. The BlackBerry device information is stored to provide these services. All data will be securely stored on SmrtGuard’s servers and be displayed on the website for you to view. WE DO NOT AND WILL NOT SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.
  
  • The email address stored under your account will used to notify consumers about updates to the SmrtGuard application.
  
  • By creating a SmrtGuard account, you are also opting to receive e-mail about SmrtGuard product updates and SmrtGuard product deals. If you want us to stop sending you SmrtGuard product deals, you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing our support team.
  
  • The data we collect are subject to be disclosed when legally required to do so, at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation.

Your choices

• • You can terminate your SmrtGuard Account at any time.
  
  • You can delete the personal data that SmrtGuard stores through the SmrtGuard website.
  
  
• • You can unsubscribe from our email marketing lists.
  
  • You can turn off the data backup services at any time from the SmrtGuard application on your Smartphone.

If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site.
