What are the Android requirements to run SmrtGuard?

 

Answer

SmrtGuard uses a Google service to quickly communicate between our servers and your Android device. This service has three Android requirements to run properly:

1) You will need Android OS 2.2 or higher.

2) You will need to have Android Market installed

3) You will need to have a valid google account registered to your phone

If your device does not meet these requirements, you will no be able to use the SmrtGuard web dashboard commands (locate, ping, wipe, lock, etc). If you meet all three requirements and are still having trouble using SmrtGuard, please contact support@smrtguard.com
