I have content protection set on the BlackBerry, will SmrtGuard backup work?

I have content protection enable on my BlackBerry, will SmrtGuard Backup work on my BlackBerry?

Answer

BlackBerry content protection is active while your BlackBerry is locked. SmrtGuard Backup will work when you initiate a manual backup.

If you have content protection enabled and want to leave it, we recommend the following:

1. Turn OFF schedule backup in SmrtGuard by setting the Backup frequency to "Never"

2. Perform manual backups when needed.
