I can't access the SmrtGuard device application? It's password protected? How do I clear it?


Answer

Within the SmrtGuard device app, you can set a password, such that any future attempts to access the device app will require a password. This can be done via the Options menu in the application.

However, if you forgot your password, you can clear it by performing these steps:

1) Log into the SmrtGuard web portal.

2) On the dashboard tab, there is a remote command called, "clear app password". Click on it and wait until the command is received by your device. Once it has, you should be able to access the app now.
