How to use Personal Guardian

I can't seem to get Personal Guardian to trigger properly. What's going on?

Answer

To trigger Personal Guardian, you need to press and hold your BlackBerry smartphone's left convenience key for a specified period of time. The default time is 7 seconds, but that can be configured on the device application. All the emergency messages can be configured on the app as well.

**Please note if you having trouble sending the emergency signals, please try changing the Left Convenience Key to "nothing" and try again. There has been reported issues of sending the emergency signals when the key is set to "keyboard lock" or "voice dialiing".
