When I login, I don't see a map on my dashboard! Why?

Question

When you login into the SmrtGuard Portal using Internet Explorer, you do not see the Dashboard map displayed.

Answer

When you log into the SmrtGuard portal, a security popup will display before you see the Dashboard page asking if you would like to view the unsecure items/content on the page. The popup will look differently depending if you are using IE 6 vs. IE 7 or IE 8.

For IE 6, you will see the following popup:

Please click the "Yes" button and the Dashboard should display the map. There is no security risk to you and your data by clicking yes to display the map.

 

For IE 7 and IE 8, you will see the following popup:

Please click the "No" button and the Dashboard should display the map. Again there is no security risk to you and your data by clicking "No" to display the display the map.

If the map still doesn't display, please use any of the Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome browsers to view the Dashboard properly .
